“The Kabba Development Union has just concluded the election to usher in a new National Executive Council.
The election process, which commenced in February 2025, came to a conclusion today with online voting.

He said the process was monitored by the KDU BOT members, community leaders, clan heads, politicians, and prominent Owe sons and daughters within and outside the country.

He said the leadership of the Union decided to opt for a technological-driven process that is seamless and also to allow delegates from various branches to cast their votes since they are all financial members.

“Delegates were drawn from the home branch and other branches of the union within and outside the country as stipulated in the KDU constitution”

He noted that the union is surprised to see people who are not saddled with any responsibilities within the Union mobilize thugs to destroy the KDU Secretariat, stressing that those who are to provide security for the people are the ones behind the ugly incident.

The Returning Officer, Mr Emmanuel Adamu, while declaring the results, commended the peaceful conduct of the delegates and pointed out that the process of the election shows that the Kabba community and KDU will go places.
