Millennium Club Kabba: 25 Years of Service, Growth, and Global Impact
Purpose was the force behind the birth of The Millennium Youth Club on February 14th, 2000, when 16 young boys and girls came together at St. Andrew’s Primary School, Kabba; to give their vision a life – striving towards intellectual and social advancement!
People-centrism is the focus of The Millennium Youth Club and its programs – student’s assessment and matriculation scheme/scholarships, youth advancement, mentorship, advocacy, friendship, leadership hub, philanthropy and the flagship being *We Care* – annual food distribution program to the aged and underprivileged.
The club also owns a cooperative, thrift and savings society with a capital in excess of N50 million.
Passion has been the spirit with which The Millennium Youth Club has grown for a quarter of a century, impacting society for good, shaping lives, building friendships and growing stronger communities.
The impact of the club is seen in the lives transformed – young people who once walked through our doors uncertain about their future now serve as professionals, leaders, and role models in their communities and many have a ready smile – testament to the benevolence that is the trademark of the club and its members.
Possibilities abound in the Millennium Youth Club and with Millennites ‘Can do’ spirit. The club will remain a platform where young people can discover their potential and channel their energy into meaningful causes; we will continue to support families in need, demonstrate youth-led compassion for our communities, support underprivileged students and young people on key issues of education, social justice, and equal opportunities.
Praises to The Great Millennium Youth Club and its members for 25 great years of service to humanity!
