Ngbelebiri Mein Kingdom Fixes August 12-18 For Burial Rites of Late Bigborogha 11

The passage rites of HRM Pere Bigborogha 11 (JP)
Pere S.H. Perekeme, the late Royal Father of Ngbilebiri Mein kingdom who
joined his ancestors on 16th August, 2017 has been slated for August 12 th to 18th August, 2024.
This message was contained in a communique issued by all the autonomous villages that makes up Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom. A central working burial committee was set up under the Chairmanship of Apostle Dr Simeon Dode and Mr David Mieyeseigha Okpe as Secretary after a well attended Ngbilebiri Kingdom General Meeting convened by the Chairmen of the Autonomous Communities that makes up Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom held at Kiagbodo in Ngbile ancestral playground.
The activities rolled out in the Press release as contained in the Communique made available to Daily lndependent Newspaper reads in Part:
” We the Chairmen, leaders and other relevant stakeholders of the autonomous communities of Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom convened a crucial meeting at the Kiagbodo Ngbile playground being the traditional headquarters of our kingdom on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 to deliberate on the funeral arrangements for our late Monarch, HRM Pere Bigborogha 11 (JP) RFML
After a very robust and extensive discussions, it was unanimously agreed
by all the Communities which makes up the kingdom that the burial rites of Late Pere Bigborogha 11 should hold from 12th to 18th August, 2024 to mark a solemn commemoration of the revered Royal Father legacy according to the customs and traditions of our great kingdom.
During the Ngbilebiri kingdom General
Meeting, the general assembly which
had the eldest man of Kiagbodo Town,
Pa Okosuye Okotiye Ova in attendance established the fact that the kingdom is
ready in one accord to give the late
Pere a beffitting Royal passage rite.
While addressing the media, the Chairman of the Central Burial
Committee Apostle Dr. Simeon Dode, President Ngbilebiri Christian Fellowship and a well respected personality in Ngbilebiri Kingdom promised that they will use the instruments of their good office to carry out the assignment put on their shoulders by the grace of God.
Mr. Mieyeseigha Okpe David, the Secretary of the Committee, with his esteemed position as Chairman of Ayakoromor Community vowed to do everything within their power to deliver on the mandate of the central burial committee.
The Acting Chairman of Kiagbodo Community , Mr Suowei Felix , the Vice Chairman Bikorogha Community,, Mr Zituade Barrister, Chairman Akparemogbene community ,all the other Autonomous communities that makes up Ngbilebiri kingdom , Pa Okosuye Okotiye Ova in his capacity as the eldest man of Kiagbodo Community and the three delegates drawn from each of the Communities to ensure a broad spectrum of representation, in all their speeches asserted that there is no going back on the the 12 th to 18th August 2024 fixed by the Ngbilebiri kingdom General Assembly for the burial rites of the late monarch.
It was also unanimously agreed in the Kingdom general meeting that all Community Chairmen are automatic members of the Central Burial Committee with three representatives from the Chiefs of the kingdom, three representatives from the Princes/ Princesses of Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom, three representatives from Bigborogha Royal family and three representatives from all the autonomous communities of the kingdom .

Paul Kurugbe former third member SUBEB Asaba, Chief Emmanuel Korokoro (JP), Mr Amadi Yeigagha, Chairman, Bigborogha Royal Family, Mr Ayafou Oweikeyou, Vice, Chairman Ayakoromor Community,
Catechist Oji Christopher, all who also
spoke in their varoius contributions affirmed that the decision to bury the departed Monarch on the 12th to 18th August, 2024 is a standing sacrosant order ordained by God hence the need for every body in the kingdom to
work towards the success of the symbolic occassion .
Prince Dr. Christopher Perekeme, the eldest son of the late Monarch, alongside his sister, Princess Chief Beauty Perekeme, who addressed the gathering, expressed their gratitude for the resolution of the Kingdom to finally lay their father to rest after seven years since his transition to eternal glory.
While Speaking to Daily lndependent Newspaper Correspondent, Prince Dr. Christopher Perekeme noted that the 12th to 18th August, 2024 fixed for the passage rite of the Monarch by the Ngbilebiri Kingdom General Assembly is a divine mandate from heaven.
He called on all sons and daughters of
the kingdom at home and in diaspora
to join hands together to give the late Monarch a befitting Royal passage.
Prince Dr. Christopher Perekeme pointed that the Burutu Local Government and the Delta State Government Will be officially communicated through the Central Burial Committee. He also thanked the Chairmen of all the various Autonomous Communities who made it possible for the burial date to be fixed.
The poignant remarks of the Prince reflected the profound dignity and reverence surrounding the upcoming burial ceremony of Late Pere Bigborogha 11.
The late Royal father, HRM Pere Bigborogha 11, held a revered position as the Pere of Ngbilebiri Kingdom, situated in the heart of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
His enduring legacy and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his subjects left an indelible mark on the collective consciousness of the kingdom uptill this moment.
As preparations for the burial rites intensify, the Ngbelebiri Mein Kingdom stands united in honoring the memory of the departed monarch in a ground style.
