Okun Unity Key to 2031 Governorship Aspirations, Says Former ODA President, Barrister Femi Mokikan
Lagos, Nigeria – Barrister Femi Mokikon, immediate past President of the Okun Development Association (ODA), has emphasized the need for unity among Okun people to achieve governorship in 2031.
He made the statement when the Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE) visited him in Lagos.
Mokikon urged Okun people to support Governor Ododo’s second term, but with proper negotiations and dialogue.
He stressed that this would strengthen their relationship with the government and create opportunities for development.
The former ODA President shared his experience, highlighting his efforts to make Okun governor realistic during his tenure.
However, he noted that lack of unity, strategic planning, and timing hindered progress.
DG OLOPE, Hon. Alfred Bello, urged Mokikon to lend his voice to give direction to the people, saying supporting Ododo’s second term would further strengthen their relationship with the government.
Mokikon emphasized the importance of Okun unity and strong collaboration with the incumbent government to achieve their goals.
He expressed optimism that with unity and strategic planning, Okun can achieve governorship in 2031.
