A devastating rainstorm has destroyed houses and displaced residents in Ejuku community, Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Alhaji Maruf Salimonu, a frontline aspirant for the Kogi State House of Assembly, representing Yagba East State Constituency, has sympathized with the affected community.
In a statement, Salimonu described the rainstorm as a natural disaster, but a major setback amidst economic hardship.

He urged residents not to lose hope and called on government agencies at state and national levels to aid the displaced families, saying “God will send a helping hand to lift them up in this time of distress”.
