Rainstorm Wears Ejuku Community: Maruf Salimonu Extends Sympathy
A severe rainstorm has hit Ejuku community, leaving a trail of destruction and displacement in its wake. Several houses have been destroyed, leaving numerous families without shelter.
Alhaji Maruf Salimonu, a prominent aspirant for the Kogi State House of Assembly, representing Yagba East State Constituency, has expressed his heartfelt sympathy with the affected community.

In a statement issued in Lokoja, Salimonu acknowledged the devastating impact of the rainstorm, describing it as a natural disaster that has dealt a significant blow to the community, particularly amidst the prevailing economic hardship.
He urged the affected residents to remain hopeful and resilient, emphasizing that such challenges are temporary.
Salimonu also appealed to government agencies at both state and national levels to intervene and provide necessary aid to the displaced families, saying “God will send a helping hand to lift them up in this time of distress”.
The aspirant’s gesture has been seen as a show of solidarity with the affected community, and his call for government support is expected to bring attention to the pluing needs of the displaced families.
