Senator Nwebonyi Flags Off Construction Of Amike Aba Town Hall Road

The senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi has flagged off the construction of the first phase of the Amike Aba Town Hall Road project.
He noted that the project was to complement the infrastructural achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru respectively.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony in Abakaliki, Senator Nwebonyi said the project was part of his commitment to delivering quality constituency projects to the people.
He added that the 2-kilometre road with the first phase covering 1 kilometre was captured under the 2025 constituency intervention programme.
According to him, the road would be constructed with concrete pavement that would last for 50 years.
The lawmaker said he has executed several similar projects including over 10 kilometres of concrete pavement roads, over 30 kilometres of earthworks, and several culverts and bridges across the zone.
“I promised in 2023 that I was going to set a standard when we talk about representation in Ebonyi North Zone. I therefore call on Ebonyians and residents of the Southeast zone,. especially our dear state to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru”, Nwebonyi said.
The senator described the Amike Aba road project as an economic empowerment initiative, saying the opening of the road would improve economic activities and transform the lives of residents. “I love doing this because by opening this road, I have renewed and revived the economy of this area,” he stated.
In his remarks, the traditional ruler of Nkeleke Echara Community, HRH Eze Sunday Oketa commended Senator Nwebonyi for his performance, describing him as a model representative.
