Ward Special Assistant Shaibu Bello thanks Gov. Ododo for his appointment
The newly appointed Ward Special Assistant in Lokoja Shaibu Bello has thanked the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the confidence reposed in him to serve his cabinet.
In a statement signed by Bello on Thursday, he described Governor Ododo as God sent to the People of Kogi State.
The highly elated Bello praised Governor Ododo for his remarkable achievement in Kogi State since taking over the mantle of leadership from his predicessor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Bello pledged is continued loyalty to the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) and the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for Kogi State to move to an enviable height.
He further appreciated Hon. Nda Aadon and the leadership of the ruling All Progressive Congress in Lokoja Local Government for their support in ensuring that this appointment sees the light of the day.
“Am using this medium to thank his excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for bringing smiles to Kogites through his policies and appointments that has direct impact on the people.
“This appointment given to me is a Clarion call to serve my State diligently. I promise not to disappoint the confidence the Governor and his entire team have reposed in me. I want to also thank our father, leader, who is the immediate past Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello Bello for bringing a Man who will consolidate in his good legacies.
” Sir, you have done well and we are all proud of you. I won’t forget my deepest appreciation to my Brother Hon. Nda Aadon and the leadership of our party for their support over the years” he added.
It could be recalled that the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State Dr Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade in a letter dated 28th October 2028 presented the letter of appointment to Shaibu Bello as a Ward Special Assistant in Lokoja.
The letter reads in part “APPOINTMENT AS WARD SPECIAL ASSISTANT I have been directed by His Excellency, Alhaji Anmed Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State to convey to you, your appointment as Ward Special Assistant. Your appointment is based on your loyalty to the Government.
“You are therefore, expected to keep surveillance in your Ward in order to maintain peace and tranquility among the citizenry. You are required to discharge your duties to the expectations of His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State to enhance the rapid growth and development of democracy at the grassroots level.
“If you accept this offer, you are to come along with the following for documentation in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State. 1.Two recent passport photographs; 2. Letter of Acceptance; and 3. Photocopy of your Permanent Voters Card. Please accept the congratulations and assurances of His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State”.
