Adebanji Jimoh Applauds Gov. Yahaya Bello For Speedy Assent To Bill Establishing The Kogi State University Kabba, Says The Governor Is A Lover Of Education

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress and a former Kogi State Governorship aspirant under the ruling APC, Adebanji David Jimoh has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaha Adoza Bello for speedily sign into law a bill establishing the kogi state university Kabba with the promise to matriculate the first set of students before the expiration of his tenure. This assent by His Excellency confirms that he is an action governor and a man of his words

Adebanji David Jimoh in a statement signed and made available to newsmen described Governor Yahaha Bello as a lover of education, applauds the Governor’s principle of fairness, equity and justice being his guiding principle.

The seasoned banker turned politician also appreciated the Governor for disclosing that with the master plan for the take off of the university ready, he will on Monday, the 26th June, 2023 submit it for approval and recognition by the National University Commission (NUC).

“Let me use this medium to commend the members of Kogi State House of Assembly for the prompt approval and passage of the bill establishing the kogi state university into law. Your actions is a testimony of the fact that you truly carry the people’s mandate and have a cordial working relationship with the executive arm of the government. I congratulate you and appeal to you to sustain the cordial relationship so that all of us will continue to witness more superlative and massive development across the nooks and crannies of our beloved Kogi State.

“For us in Okun Nation, it is a long awaited dream come true and collectively we own it from Lokoja-Kogi, Yagba West, Yagba East, Mopamuro, Ijumu and Kabba/Bunu respectively, it ours and I want to appeal to the good people of Okun Nation in particular and Kogi West in general to reciprocate this gesture to continue to support the administration of Governor Yahaha Bello to succeed and also come out en-mass in the forthcoming Kogi State Governorship election and vote overwhelmingly for the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for a prosperous Kogi State as he (Ododo) would sustain the legacy of Governor Yahaha Bello when elected as Governor of Kogi State.
