APC Deputy Spokesperson Mourns Victims of Ebbe, Kupa Boat Mishap in Kogi

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Durosinmi Meseko, has expressed deep sadness over the tragic boat mishap that occurred in Ebbe, Kupa, Kogi State, resulting in the loss of lives.

In a statement released on 1st December 2024, Hon Durosinmi Meseko extended his heartfelt condolences to the Kogi State Government, the affected communities, and the families of the victims. He described the incident as a devastating loss and called for a thorough investigation into the cause of the mishap.

“We are deeply saddened by the news of this tragic incident,” the statement read. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, and we pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.”

Hon Durosinmi Meseko also urged relevant authorities to take necessary steps to prevent future occurrences of such tragedies. “This incident highlights the importance of safety measures on our waterways, and we urge all concerned to prioritize the safety of passengers,” he added.
