Ex-APC Rep Aspirant, Chief Mrs. Toyin Omole, Set for Community Service Award in Abuja
ABUJA — Former APC Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal House of Representatives Aspirant, Chief Mrs. Toyin Omole, has been selected to receive the ‘Community Development Service Award 2026’ at the 16th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony organized by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 19th August, 2026 at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja. It will mark the 27th Anniversary of Uninterrupted Democracy in Nigeria.
According to the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of _Democracy Newsline Newspaper_, Chief Olugbemi Femi, the award recognizes Chief Mrs. Omole’s outstanding contributions to grassroots development, women empowerment, education, and humanitarian services in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency and beyond.
“Chief Mrs. Toyin Omole has consistently demonstrated leadership through service to her people,” Chief Femi said. “Her commitment to community development, advocacy for women and youth, and philanthropic efforts have made a significant impact at the grassroots level.”
The theme of this year’s lecture is “Economic Reform, Democracy and Sustainable Development: The Nigerian Example.” The ceremony will also feature the Induction of distinguished Nigerians into the Good Governance Hall of Fame.
During her time as an APC aspirant for the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal House of Representatives seat, Chief Mrs. Omole was noted for her people-centered campaigns focused on health, education, and economic empowerment for rural communities.
Other dignitaries expected at the event include government officials, traditional rulers, political leaders, captains of industry, and civil society organizations.
The organizers said the awards are designed to honor Nigerians whose leadership and service have advanced democracy, good governance, and sustainable development.
Chief Mrs. Omole is expected to deliver a goodwill message at the ceremony and will receive a plaque and citation in recognition of her contributions.
