Kogi Decides 2023: Despite the fact that one of our sons is contesting, Ijumu will deliver to the APC – Omofiaye
Ahead of the November 11 Governorship Election in Kogi State, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Chief Adewale Omofiaye has said despite one of their sons, who is the candidate of the main opposition, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye, the people of Ijumu local government will deliver to the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC), stressing that the opposition party have no structure to win the area against the APC.
He disclosed this while addressing newsmen in Iyara on the sideline of the Ijumu APC Stakeholders meeting held yesterday.
According to him, no one needs to be told that the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi state is already won by the APC considering the number of politicians from the other parties who have joined the ruling APC. He pointed out that the massive movement into the ruling party is a testimony to the leadership acumen and sterling performances of Governor Yahaya Bello.
He said Ijumu is ever prepared to vote en masse for the APC and the caliber of the party stakeholders who attended the meeting shows that APC’s victory in the forthcoming Governorship election is a done deal in Ijumu Local Government Area.
