KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY KABBA IN FOCUS: LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO HIS EXCELLENCY, Gov. YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO, CON.
“When an arrow leaves the bow, it does not return”….this statement ably depicts the expediency, staunch commitment and a driven passion towards actualizing any stated goal by my amiable, energetic and progressive Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. I put this encomiums forward in respect of the just approved university in Okun Land, Kogi State University, Kabba in particular.
Hosting a university has been the age long desire and prayers of the Okun Extraction of Kogi West Senatorial district, being the only province of the then Kabba province left without some major developmental features. Many governments had come and gone with various promises, to see and attend to the lamentations of the Okun people, preferably the people of Kabba (Owe) but all to no avail.
HE, Gov. Yahaya A. Bello came onboard as the executive governor of the State and started to change the narratives. His government is a balancing government! A government of equity, fairness and justice. A government of equal distribution of both human and other resources. HE, GYB, the man of the moment, has once again, brought out the hidden treasures out of the Okun people, Kabba in particular, by unprecedentedly breaking the ice; the establishment of a state university in Kabba, to balance the distribution of Universities in the three senatorial districts.
My wonderful Governor, I as an individual and on behalf of my people, is immensely grateful for this monumental kind gesture, in the approval and establishment of Kogi State University, Kabba, a citadel of higher learning!
We pray for you sir, that Almighty Allah will bless you richly, grant you good, sound health and long life, to enjoy the good fruits of your untiring labour.
Sir, once again, on behalf of my humble self and immediate community, I say we are grateful for giving us our own university, Kogi State University Kabba!
Long live KSUK!
Long live Kogi State!!
Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!
