PDP NORTHERN YOUTH LEADERS FORUM REJECTS COALITION OF DISPLACED POLITICIANS, VOWS TO REBUILD PARTY
The Forum of Northern PDP Local Government Youth Leaders has issued a strong statement rejecting a recently unveiled coalition of aggrieved and displaced politicians ahead of the 2027 general elections. The youth leaders described the coalition as a “regrouping of aged, recycled politicians” who have failed the Nigerian people and are seeking to exploit the goodwill of the electorate for personal ambitions.
In a press release signed by Hon. Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin, the PDP Youth Leader in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State and Chairman of the Forum, the youth leaders expressed their commitment to rebuilding the PDP and positioning it as a true alternative in the 2027 general elections.
The statement also paid tribute to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, while criticizing his administration for leaving the country more divided, insecure, and economically broken.
The PDP youth leaders urged Nigerians, especially the youth, to remember the damage caused by the Buhari administration and to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.
They called on members of the newly announced coalition to present a clear vision for the country instead of engaging in empty rhetoric.
The statement concluded by affirming the PDP’s strength and structure, and vowing to defend democracy with renewed vigor.
The youth leaders urged those who have left the PDP to join the new coalition to reconsider, assuring that the PDP is not dead and is being rebuilt stronger and better.
The development is seen as a significant boost to the PDP’s efforts to rejuvenate and reposition itself ahead of the 2027 general elections.
