RE: INEC REJECTS THE ABEJIDE FACTION: A lie from the pit of hell

INEC Letter Changes Nothing — it’s just a Media Noise; a Waste of Ink

The attention of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State has been drawn to yet another round of sensational headlines sponsored by the embattled faction loyal to Hon. Kinsley Temitope Ogga, the headlines that amount to nothing more than political gymnastics and deliberate misinformation.

Let it be clearly stated: INEC did NOT “validate” anybody. INEC did NOT “endorse” Kingsley Ogah, neither Reject the ‘Chief Maiyaki Sunday led exco’ INEC simply restated a basic administrative procedure—nothing more, nothing less.
This is not news. This is not a victory. This is not a pronouncement.
It is simply INEC saying “follow due process” of which we know and has followed abinitio

Waving off their propaganda with the back of the hand, the public must understand the following:

1. INEC has no power to choose party leaders.
The Commission only receives communication from parties after due process at the national level. This has always been the rule. There is nothing new here.

2. The attempt of an expelled faction to smuggle an unsolicited one sided correspondence btw our chairman and INEC is laughable, it shows how bereft of idea the expelled group are, This is not rejection. This is not a judgement. It is not recognition. It is simply bureaucracy at work.

3. Because few of the national leadership of the ADC has been bought over does not stop the proper documentation and ratification of the new executive by the expanded stakeholder at the INEC headquarters

4. Trying to spin an administrative acknowledgement into a political “victory” exposes the desperation within the camp, the political marauders who will be shown the way out of party soon,
If this is what they now celebrate, then their political decline is deeper than imagined.

The public should disregard the sponsored narratives claiming that INEC has “recognized” one Kingsley Ogah or “rejected” any faction. INEC recognized nothing. INEC endorsed nobody. INEC simply requested proper documentation.

We urge well-meaning ADC members across Kogi State to remain calm. No amount of media drama or political noise can replace due process.

Politics is on the ground and not on the newspaper headlines.

End of Statements
