2023: Karimi donates Borehole, Solar street lights to Ofere Community, as APC takes Campaign to Bunu South

Kogi West Senatorial Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress in the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly Elections, Hon. Sunday Karimi has promised to drill a borehole and supply solar panel street lights to Ofere community in Akutupa political ward of Kabba/Bunu local government area of Kogi State this week.
He made the promise when himself and his Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu and State Assembly candidate for Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Matthew Kolawole and Seyi Bello took their campaigns which were led by the local government chairman, Hon. Moses Olorunleke and his Ijumu counterpart, Hon. Taufiq Isah.
According to him, he was highly elated with the warm reception accorded the campaign train and the large turnout of the people who welcomed them to the community, stressing that himself and the other candidates of the party are credible individuals that will not disappoint them when elected.
Speaking at the various communities visited, the Yagba born politician said it is on record that Yagba and Bunu’s cordial relationship is age-long, urging them not to allow any self-centered politician to cajole them rather they should support Yagba candidate for the Senate after 16 years of Ijumu domination on the seat.
He promised to work with his colleagues and other stakeholders to bring about the realization of the local government autonomy in the country as that is the only way the grassroots can be empowered economically, socially and politically to eradicate all the social menaces that have bedeviled the country, stressing that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is more determined to devolve power to the federating units when he assumes office.
Speaking in Hausa language to the Hausa community, Hon Taufiq Isah commended the peaceful way and manner they have lived with their host community, urging them to report any suspicious movement or strange visitors that may intrude to cause any harm.
He said the candidates of the APC are people who have been tested and can be trusted from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon Karimi, Kolawole and Seyi Bello, appealed to them to vote enmass for the party in the elections.
Hon Moses Olorunleke in his address said the current administration led by Governor Yahaya Bello in the state will continue to do its best to provide security and infrastructure development, warning that they should not allow criminals to live among them.
While the Candidate for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu, Matthew Kolawole said the Federal Constituency will witness rapid development under his representation, as he will not leave any stone unturned until he lobby for mouth watering projects that will have direct impact on the people, stressing that the opposition has overstayed on the seat since 1999.
He urged them to vote enmass for all the candidates of the APC, from the top to the bottom, so as to consolidate on the good things the current administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari is doing and improve on the other areas that need improvement.
Highlights of the campaign was the attendance of the burial programs of late Oba Jem Kiri, the Olukiri of Kiri land who died late last year by the party candidates
The campaign train visited Ike, Sado, Aiyetoro, Akutupa, Suku, Osomule and Ofere communities, all in Kiri land.
The campaign train continues today around Bunu Central.
