I lost a brother, true friend, mentor and political leader in Hon. Jossy Dada – Okomoda

By Adewale Sunday – Lokoja
Board Chairman of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Hon. Raphael Okomoda has described the sudden demise of the former Chairman of Kabba/Bunu local government area as tragic and devastating, pointing out that he has lost a brother, true friend, mentor and political leader at a time his support and advise will be needed most.

He disclosed this in a press statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Lokoja.

According to him, he lacks the words to truly express the depth of his grief on the passage of a forthright, honest, dedicated, easy going and committed politician that distinguished and carved a niche for himself while alive, describing him as an iconic and a rare gem that people wish to emulate.

He said his early departure was a colossal loss not only to him, his aged mother but to the entire Kabba (Owe) /Okun nation and political class in Kogi State, stressing that it will be hard for him to forget those memorable days with him and to fill the vacuum he left behind

‘I will forever remember his good deeds to me as I will miss lots of good things about him’

He said the family should take solace in the words of God which acknowledged that there is time a man will be born and time he or she will die, urging them to uphold the legacy of their father.

He commiserates with his aged mother, wives, children, grandchildren, Ugbo Royal family and the entire community on the sudden demise of our beloved brother, father, grandfather and one of Owe patriots, Hon. Joseph Dada, while praying that God will grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
