The Managing Director, Ignobis Hotels Kubwa , federal Capital Territory Abuja, His Royal Highness, Ike Obasi has lauded the efforts of the Director General of the African American Research Studies, Professor Nnamdi Nwaodu for his advocacy against human trafficking, modern Slavery and other vices affecting the Socio-economic and Psychological fabrics of Nigeria and the entire African continent.
HRH Ike Obasi said the unwavering Commitments and passion demostrated by Prof. Nnamdi in his awareness Campaigns and advocacy against the scourge through Conferences public lectures was legendary and worths Commending.
Ike Obasi made the remarks at the All African Conference on Humans traffic, Modern Slavery, Child Labour, Domestic Violence and Other Vices, held at the National Center for women Development, by the African American Research Studies (ARC)Wednesday November 13th,2024, with the theme, ” Ridding of the Menace of Human trafficking, modern Slavery, Child Labour, Domestic Violence and Other Vices”, a Conference that attracted Participants from Nation’s on the Africa Continent.
while Calling on the Government of Nations in the Continent to Support the initiative, the Managing Director also pointed out that the fight against human trafficking, modern Slavery, Child Labour, Domestic Violence and Other Social ills needed Collective efforts and Collaborations with agencies of Government and other Non-governmental Organizations like the Center for African American Research Studies, to reduce the increasing tide of human trafficking and modern Slavery in Nigeria and the entire Continent.
Commenting on some distinguished persons that were awarded by the Center for African American Research Studies, the business Mogul disclosed that they were all deserving of the honour, Considering the experience and impeccable integrity of the Director General of the Center Prof. Nnamdi Nwaodu who most have done his due diligence before bestowing the award on them.
