Obasanjo, Atiku, Shettima Attend Kwankwaso’s Daughter’s Wedding in Kano

Kano witnessed a convergence of political heavyweights and dignitaries as former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and Vice President Kashim Shettima joined other prominent personalities at the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of former Kano State Governor and NNPP leader, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The grand ceremony took place at the historic palace of the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, and was attended by a host of influential figures from across Nigeria and beyond. The wedding marked a rare moment of unity, bringing together political leaders from different parties and ideologies in a display of mutual respect and cultural celebration.
The groom’s father, Dahiru Mangal, a prominent businessman, and the bride’s father, Kwankwaso, stood side by side alongside Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and his deputy, Aminu Abdusalam Gwarzo. The grand wedding Fatiha, conducted under strict Islamic protocols, highlighted Kano’s rich culture and tradition. The ceremony was officiated by top Islamic scholars, with prayers offered for the couple’s happiness and prosperity.
Notable among the international dignitaries were representatives from Niger, Chad, and other neighboring countries, reflecting the influence and connections of the Kwankwaso and Mangal families.
