He has consistently spoken out against the government’s handling of security matters, urging them to do more to protect the lives and properties of citizens.

The Okun region, particularly the Bunu and Yagba areas, is facing a dire security situation.

The continuous plague of insecurity, marked by kidnappings, armed robberies, and other violent crimes, has left residents living in fear.

The continuous insecurity in the area has severely impacted people’s livelihoods, particularly in terms of food security, as farmers can no longer access their farms. Many schools in the affected areas have been unable to resume classes three weeks after the start of the 2025/2026 academic year in Kogi State.

Additionally, healthcare services have come to a standstill, with medical personnel having fled the area for their safety.

Braimoh has been at the forefront of the call for action, demanding that the government take concrete steps to address the situation.

The situation demands concerted efforts from both the authorities and the community to combat the menace headlong.

Braimoh emphasizes the need for a proactive approach to security, one that prioritizes the safety and well-being of citizens.

As the most vocal opposition voice in Kogi State, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh’s role is crucial in a functioning democracy.

He provides a platform for the voiceless to be heard, pushing for real change and demanding answers from those in power.

Otunba Olayinka Braimoh’s unwavering commitment to the people of Kogi State, particularly in the Okun region, is a beacon of hope in a time of insecurity.

His voice is a reminder that there are those who will stand up for what is right, even in the face of adversity.
